Terms of Use

What this website is for, and what it isn't.

Effective September 2, 2026 · Last updated September 9, 2026

In short: this site is here to explain what AhaCare does and to start a conversation. Nothing on it is a contract, a diagnosis, or a promise that a particular service is available to you, and using it costs nothing.

Agreeing to these terms

AhaCare is a non-medical home care service being established in North Texas. Its formal legal entity is being registered; this page will name it the day that completes.

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the site. It's that simple.

Personal care services in Texas require a Home and Community Support Services Agency license from Texas HHSC. AhaCare is preparing its application, and hands-on personal care will not be offered for pay until that license is issued.

What this site is

Pages that explain AhaCare's services, and a Request Care form that starts a conversation with the care team. There are no accounts to create, no passwords to manage, and nothing to buy on this site. Costs are discussed with a coordinator, never charged here.

This is not medical advice

Everything here describes non-medical home care: help with everyday routines. It is not clinical guidance, and it should not be used to decide anything medical.

If someone is in immediate danger or needs urgent medical help, call 911. This site is not monitored for emergencies.

To report suspected abuse, neglect or exploitation of an older adult, call the Texas Abuse Hotline at 1-800-252-5400.

Requesting care is not the same as being offered it

The Request Care form is a way to start a conversation. It is not an assessment, and completing it does not commit you to anything or guarantee that AhaCare can help.

Where a service is shown as not yet available, that is the current state and not a formality. We would rather say so than take you through a process that ends in a no.

Care agreements are separate

If AhaCare and your family do begin care, that relationship is governed by a signed care agreement, not by this website or these terms.

Who can use this site

You must be 18 or older to use this site and to submit the Request Care form.

Who we serve

AhaCare serves families without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or age.

Where we work

AhaCare serves Collin and Denton Counties, Texas, starting with Prosper, Frisco, McKinney and Celina. Nothing on this site implies availability anywhere else.

Using this site fairly

Give true information in the Request Care form. The care team plans around what you tell them. Don't use the site for anything unlawful, don't scrape or probe it, don't interfere with how it runs, and don't resell or misrepresent what's on it. It exists so families can reach us; please leave it working for them.

What's ours, and what's yours

The content of this site, including its words, photographs, the AhaCare name and the Aha Family Note, belongs to AhaCare and is protected by copyright. You are welcome to view and share it personally; using it commercially, copying it, or passing it off needs our written permission.

What you send us stays yours. We use it only as the Privacy Policy says.

No promises about the website itself

The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it accurate and available, but we can't promise it will always be either. To the extent the law allows, AhaCare is not liable for losses that come from relying on the website rather than on a conversation with the care team. Nothing here limits rights the law gives you that cannot be limited.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Texas. Where disputes would be heard, and whether arbitration applies, will be stated here once AhaCare's advisers confirm it.

Other websites

Where this site links to other websites, we are not responsible for what they do or what they say.

Changes, and if a part fails

When these terms change, the date at the top changes with it, and a material change will be noticed on this page. If any part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands. Together with the Privacy Policy, these terms are the whole agreement about using this website.

Where this stands

AhaCare's formal registration and legal review are underway. These terms say plainly how the site is meant to be used today; the adviser-reviewed version will replace them, and the date above will change when it does.
